Public Notice: School Board Vacancy

Notice is hereby given that a vacancy exists on the Elba Public Schools (District 047-0103) Board of Education due to the resignation of Brittany Christensen, which was accepted by the Board on May 11, 2026.

The Board of Education is seeking applications from qualified registered voters residing within the school district who are interested in being appointed to fill this vacancy. The appointed member will serve for the remainder of the unexpired term.

Interested individuals should submit a letter of interest and/or a brief resume to the Superintendent’s Office at 711 Caroline Street, Elba, NE, or via email to  bobby.kelley@elbaps.org.

Application Deadline: June 5th, 2026

The Board of Education plans to review applications and may conduct interviews during the upcoming meeting scheduled for June 8th, 2026.
